Fort Bend Magic 9U Team Star at the Toyota Center!
Fort Bend Magic 10U Kicks Off Season!
The 10 year olds will compete in the Gulf Coast Blue Chips Tournament this weekend (12/15 & 12/16) at the U of H Recreation Center. 4800 Calhoun Rd. Houston, 77204. There games are at 4PM, 6:30PM and 8:50PM on 12/15. Playoffs are on Sunday.

Fort Bend Magic Point Guard Sam Akingboye
Sam will participate in the prestigeous Syracuse Elite Camp in Syracuse, New York (7/21/07). Two years ago Sam made the committment to "up his level of play" and it is showing results. With his unique ability to get deflections, make steals and cause turnovers this "Rising Star" is moving up the charts fast on "Rivals.com". Sam dominates games defensively. He'll shut down the 6'5" post up guards as well as the 5'6" speed demons. Sam is an Honor Student at Thurgood Marshall and was the District High Hurdles Champion his freshman year! Magic 8U Blue Capture 2nd Place
in the 8U Gulf Coast League with a 5-2 record and finished 3rd in tournament play!
All 8U Blue Starters (Cody Graham, Stephen Bates, Antonio Lapeyrolerie, Tobe Okeke, & Xzavion Kelly) were selected to All League and All Defensive Teams
Fort Bend "Lady Magic" 14U Division won another tounament this weekend (5/5/07). They placed 1st in the Houston Cobras AAU Tournament.
The 14U "Lady Magic" once again had an awesome weekend.
On 4-20 thru 4-22 the girls won 1st place and all received individual trophies at the Houston Insiders AAU Tournament.
The 8U Gold Magic PLACED SECOND
in the "Show Me My Opponent" Tournament in League City. It was their first game together and they did a great job!
9U Blue WON THEIR DIVISION and brought home 1st PLACE! These guys did an amazing job on the court and the win was a battle to the end.
9U Gold PLACED FOURTHin the same tournament. They played with all their heart and we love that about them.
Last, but for sure not least, 10U CAME IN THIRD in the tournament, but you know they will be working hard to bring home the gold next time.
The 8U Blue Team won one game and lost the other in their league play located in Dickinson, TX. It was also their first game together.

Our mission is to have our youth learn the positive benefits of team sports, which they can use throughout their lifetime.
Some of the positive benefits include: teamwork, discipline, communication, vision, and a strong work ethic.
Our goal for each participant in the program is to build character and prepare them for secondary education with having achieved success through attaining realistic goals.
